John Lyon

John was appointed CEO of Lumley in May 2008 and is responsible for strategic direction and operational performance of the company. He reports regularly to the Lumley Board and to Wesfarmers.

Alistair Smith

Alistair joined Lumley in April 2008 and is responsible for the finance, accounting, treasury and company secretarial functions of the company.

Daryl Palmer
Daryl Palmer

Daryl joined Lumley early in 2007 and commenced his current role late 2007. He is responsible for the analytical and reinsurance functions of the company.

Denise Deegan
Denise Deegan

Denise joined Lumley as the HR Manager in 2008. Denise has worked in many industry sectors including manufacturing, construction, professional services and communications and media, having over 20 years' experience in HRM roles.

Wendy Lau
Wendy Lau

Wendy joined Lumley in 2008 and is primarily responsible for setting the company’s direction and focus on enterprise risk management, compliance, insurance governance and audit.

Mike Gardner
Mike Gardner

With over 13 years experience in the insurance and banking sectors, Mike is responsible for leading the Lumley New Zealand IT team and developing the strategic direction for information technology.

Dean Edwards

As GM Broker Distribution, Dean is responsible for Lumley's branch network, our Broker partners programme and the Marketing team and ably leads the execution of Lumley Broker's distribution strategies.

Paul Munton
Paul Munton

As GM Broker Products, Paul is responsible for leading Lumley's product portfolios as we strengthen our claims and underwriting performance, and execute our business strategies.

Toni Ferrier
Toni Ferrier

Toni started her career as a lawyer before joining the insurance industry 10 years ago. Since then she has worked in a variety of roles including managing legal and claim recovery functions, working in a senior national sales management role, and joins Lumley from her current role as senior manager of Vero’s Agency and Partnership division.
