The Lumley name is a trusted and long-standing one.  With over 100 years behind us, we have proven we are a stable and long-term player in the volatile business of risk.

Backed by the financial strength of our parent company, Wesfarmers, we were accredited with an insurer financial strength rating of "A-" (Strong) by Standard & Poor's (Australia) Pty Ltd, an approved agency, on  7 November 2009.

The Standard & Poor's rating scale is:

• AAA - Extremely Strong
• AA - Very Strong
• A - Strong
• BBB - Good
• BB - Marginal
• B - Weak
• CCC - Very Weak
• CC - Extremely Weak
• R - Regulatory Action
• NR - Not Rated
