We are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Kirk as our new Liability Centre of Expertise Manager.

Craig is heading up our Liability team and joins us with over 11 years insurance experience. He comes to Lumley from his previous role as Europe Professions Manager for Chartis International (London), where he had responsibility for managing a substantial PI book across 26 countries.

During the past eight years with Chartis International and Chartis/AIG, Craig has held a number of roles across multiple international jurisdictions including Europe, Australasia, Middle East and Africa. He was previously the Atlantic Hub Professions Manager (London) and Financial Lines Underwriter (Sydney), and spent four years based in Auckland in various management positions within the Chartis/AIG Financial Lines division. Craig is well-known in the local market, and enjoys a strong reputation as a proficient liability underwriter.

He’s also held underwriting roles with Zurich Financial Services in London, and has a Masters of Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

We are confident that Craig’s strong leadership skills and liability expertise is a good match for Lumley, and will add value to both you, our liability team, and to the wider broker business.
