Canterbury Earthquakes

Responding to the Canterbury Earthquakes and aftershocks is a top priority at Lumley, and the key focus for our claims and earthquake-support teams.

For those of you with clients affected by the Canterbury earthquakes, we want to make the claims process as straightforward as possible for you and your affected clients.

A ‘fast track’ process was established at Lumley in September 2010 to manage claims from the earthquake, and has proven to be effective in processing claims quickly and efficently. We have additional resource available in our claims service area to ensure we move as quickly as possible on getting your clients claims processed.

To assist your clients a claim report (PDF) or claim report (Word doc) are available for this event. Please complete this form with them and send it through via email it to disasterclaims@lumley.co.nz or call 0800 654 985 to ensure prompt action is taken.

While it would be good to have these forms as supporting claims documentation, we will be processing claims regardless to ensure we give your clients' the best service possible.
